Talent Aligned is partnering with a premier specialist HVAC and mechanical engineering contractor in Australia to secure elite digital engineering talent.
This organization operates a rapidly growing dedicated prefabrication facility and delivers mechanical services for the largest construction projects nationwide
They currently boast a billion-dollar pipeline of work, encompassing major health infrastructure, national stadiums, the tallest commercial towers, and a massive data centre projects.
The Opportunity:
We have immediate openings for mid-level to senior HVAC BIM Drafters to join a highly skilled and collaborative drawing office
This is a genuine production role on live, complex projects where you will drive project outcomes and assist the wider team
You will not just be filling a seat; you will be contributing from day one alongside experienced BIM leads on hospital-scale coordination jobs
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain Revit MEP models for HVAC and mechanical services across complex, multi-discipline projects
- Coordinate with structural and architectural consultants using Autodesk Forma and advanced clash detection workflows
- Work hands-on with risers, plant rooms, pump skids, piping installations, ceilings, and corridors
- Liaise confidently with project leads, internal modelling resources, and offshore team members
- Proactively question existing processes and generate innovative ideas to improve delivery
Your Profile:
- Proven Revit MEP experience with the ability to comprehensively model HVAC and mechanical services
- A background in Tier 1 engineering consultancies or contractors is highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to get involved, problem solve and collaborate effectively
- Strong autonomy, enabling you to take ownership of tasks and run with them
- Experience with large projects such as data centres is highly regarded
