We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Drafter / Drafting Lead to spearhead high-profile projects, drive drafting standards, and mentor an established team of junior professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead the spatial coordination and drafting of complex HVAC systems for major commercial and institutional projects from inception to handover.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide, support, and develop junior and mid-level drafters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- BIM Coordination: Utilize cutting-edge industry tools to ensure seamless project execution and clash detection.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure models align with constructability requirements and project timelines.
What You Bring
- Proven Experience: A strong background in HVAC drafting within the Australian construction or contracting market. Experience with Tier 1 mechanical contractors is highly regarded but not essential.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Revit, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar.
- Project Portfolio: Exposure to large-scale, complex projects such as healthcare facilities, data centres, or high-rise commercial developments beneficial.
- Leadership Capabilities: A natural ability to mentor staff, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and take ownership of design outcomes.
